Hp photosmart 7510 printer3/12/2023 In fact, though, it’s a standard A4 printer, with a 125-sheet tray topped off by a 20-sheet photo tray, which powers into the machine when photo print is selected. You’d be forgiven for thinking this machine could handle A3 paper, as the lower section, which houses the paper tray, runs the full width of the machine. The Photosmart 7510 shows the designers’ latest outing. In its latest round of machines, it has tried hard to break away from the square-box-with-a-scanner-on-top look of many home multifunctions. Think I will buy something more reliable at the EOFY.Nobody can say the industrial design of HP inkjet all-in-ones is mundane. I have also had the printer replaced in full once under warranty, and the print head replaced under warranty as well. Keep your software disc somewhere handy as I have had to reinstall the software multiple times to get the printer to work properly (I also suggest you try this first for any problem). I dread every time a family has an important print job I have to do, because I never know when the printer will suddenly refuse to print properly, creating drama and stress and time to try and resolve the problem. The solutions proposed by HP will empty your ink cartridges, at the end of which you will discover the problem is not resolved. These issues are common, given the number of frustrated user posts about each issue. blue printing as dark purple, yellow as burnt orange). I have spent many many hours trawling the internet to try to find solutions to issues about printing photos, printer not printing black, printer not printing accurate colours (e.g. You will not get anywhere NEAR the number of black pages indicated on the cartridge. HP tells me that the ink gets used up during the cleaning process. Using the XL ink cartridges, you can bank on replacing all the colour ink cartridges every 4 months, even if you don't print in colour. It isn't reliable and the HP step-by-step help instructions use a LOT of ink. Update almost 2 years later and I cannot say how much I have grown to hate this printer since the early love affair. Reliable wireless connection, E-Print, touch screen, direct print from Ipad/Iphone I hesitated before getting another HP Photosmart, but just love it. It replaces my earlier model HP Photosmart which cost more, jammed often and regularly disconnected itself for no reason. Mine is hidden in a kitchen cupboard and still prints flawlessly with the cupboard door shut. It is big, not very portable and not a decorator item. The touch screen is receptive and made set up much easier. Web features are included, which I browsed through but haven't used and probably never will. It doesn't have an ethernet port, which may be an issue if your wireless reception isn't. It is fast, prints double sided, has a page feeder, a touch screen, usb input, scanner - everything I need. The wireless connection is reliable - it hasn't disconnected itself once. Direct printing from Ipad and Iphone is very convenient. This allows you to email documents and photos directly to your printer from anywhere - and they are sitting neatly printed in the tray when you get home. Very easy to set up, including the wonderful printer email address. But I quickly felt relief, as I realized, I FINALLY am free from futile HP! I scooped up the dead junk, set it to my curb for garbage pickup, and gleefully, got a black-and-white all-in-one Epson machine recommended by Consumer Reports! Now I will save thousands of dollars and headaches, as I will get what I always really needed - a machine that will scan, copy, and print words/documents! Read more habit cost me hundreds of dollars every 3 months, since the cartridges got gobbled by my HP 7510! I bought yet more cartridges last month, only for my entire, HP 7510 to DIE! It saddened me at first. The HP site had too many look-alike cartridges. I was an HP addict, buying thick, black HP 56r cartridges thin, black hp 564 photo cartridges and more, HP 564 cyan (blue), yellow, and magenta (pink) 564s. I got headaches as I ordered the necessary cartridges. Why? It required FIVE, hard-to-order cartridges, that did not last. This machine prints beautiful, colorful computer images.but dang! It is SO not worth the money! I had to spend thousands of dollars during my five years with this machine.
